Youth alcohol enforcement on tap in May

With prom and graduation season here, Jefferson City police will join other law enforcement agencies May 3-14 in an effort to seek out drunk drivers and minors in possession of alcohol.

Missouri has a zero-tolerance law, which means people under 21 caught driving with even a trace of alcohol in their system can have their license suspended.
