Four people were arrested after sheriff's deputies chased their car through eastern and northern Boone County on Sunday night.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department reports the chase began around 9:30 p.m. on St. Charles Road east of Columbia when a deputy tried to pull over a vehicle suspected of being involved in an earlier incident in the area. The fleeing vehicle eventually was stopped in Hallsville after it ran over a tire deflation device officers had deployed in its path.
All four occupants were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Boone County Jail.
Ashley Suggett, 32, of Holts Summit, was arrested for one count of resisting arrest and one count of driving while suspended.
Also arrested for resisting arrest were Carley Littleton, 19, of Foristell; and John Calvert, 36, and Zachary Bradley, 21, both of Columbia.
