Jefferson City man charged with trespassing

HOLTS SUMMIT, Mo. - A Jefferson City man was charged Saturday for trespassing offences, according to a spokesperson of the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.

The Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney's office charged David Latham, 42, with resisting arrest and first degree trespassing. Latham was arrested Friday following an investigation into a trespassing offense in Holts Summit, the spokesperson said.

Deputies and Holts Summit officers located Latham in a residence in the 2500 block of Jazel Lane, north of Holts Summit. According to the Sheriff's Office release, when officers tried to arrest Latham, he physically resisted before ultimately being subdued.

Latham was taken to the Callaway County Jail. His bond has been set at $10,000, the release added.
