The Missouri Department of Transportation has launched a survey seeking public feedback about the recently completed replacement of the Cole County Routes J/M bridge over U.S. 50. The $1.2 million project, which took place this summer, replaced an overpass that had structural deficiencies.

The eight-question survey includes questions concerning the need for the project, the availability of information and customers' satisfaction with the finished product.

"We want to know if local residents believe this project was the right solution to address the issue," said Central District Engineer David Silvester. "The information provided will help us when planning future work in the Central District."

The survey will remain open through the end of September. Interested citizens can take the survey by visiting surveymonkey.com/r/XQ5SK6Q on their computer, smartphone or tablet.
