Bryson T. Skinner, 21, of California, faces burglary and drug possession charges after he was arrested Saturday inside a St. Martins business.
Cole County sheriff's deputies who answered a burglary alarm call at 4:09 p.m. Saturday at Goldstar Recycling, 605 Empire Drive, said they arrested Skinner inside the building after they found a back door open and heard noises inside.
After arresting Skinner, the deputies also reported finding he had a small amount of marijuana.
Bond was set at $5,000 on the second-degree burglary charge and at $500 for the possession of marijuana, as a persistent offender charge.
Sheriff John Wheeler said the investigation is continuing.
