Library program targets human trafficking

A presentation on human trafficking is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 28 at Missouri River Regional Library, 214 Adams St. in Jefferson City.

Nanette Ward, founding member of the Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition, will provide a multi-media presentation on the work of the coalition and its efforts to promote awareness of both labor trafficking and sex trafficking of children, women and men.

She will focus on the trafficking of youth in particular and the role social media plays in this issue.
