Latham School graduation held May 15

The eighth grade class of Latham R-V School graduation ceremony was held May 15, preceded by the kindergarten graduation.

Marching into the gym at latham school to Pomp and Circumstance were Eighth Grade Graduates Hayden Dowell, Kylee Gunnerson, Brooke Liebl, Walter Sandidge and Ben Strutton. Principal Jennifer Hays welcomed the students, family and friends, followed by a commencement address by Angie Shane and a speech by Valedictorian Brooke Liebl. School Board President Shawn Higgins presented diplomas to the graduates.

Prior to the eighth grade graduation, the program started with the Kindergarten graduation. The kindergartners were introduced by teacher Ruby Hibdon, followed by a graduation presentation of a video "A Year in Kindergarten" compiled by Hibdon. Higgins presented the diplomas to kindergartners Morgan Cole, Clabe Messerli, Brooklyn Ryon, Bentley Bower, Noah Meloy, Darla Williams, Natilee Wilt, Brynn Lloyd, Payton Higgins, and Micah Street. The young people exited to a special Recessional tune, "Happy."
