Wynonna & The Big Noise will kick off Jefferson City's Independence Day celebration July 1 during Salute to America's Inside the Walls concert hosted at the former Missouri State Penitentiary.

This marks the second year Salute to America has held a concert inside the former state penitentiary, after Travis Tritt headlined the first ever Inside the Walls concert last summer.

Wynonna Judd and her band have sold over 30 million albums worldwide spanning her 33-year career. Their most recent full-length album, titled "Wynonna & The Big Noise," was released in February 2016.

Audience members will hear a mixture of country, Americana, blues, soul and rock throughout the band's performance, according to Salute to America officials.

At one point, Judd was dubbed by Rolling Stone as "the greatest female country singer since Patsy Cline," having received over 60 industry awards, recording countless charting singles, and topping the charts with 20 No. 1 hits such as "Mama He's Crazy," "Why Not Me" and "Grandpa, Tell Me 'Bout The Good Ole Days."

General tickets, available now, cost $39.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. July 1, and the show starts at 5 p.m. inside the MSP walls on Lafayette Street.

Opening acts include The Shotgun Billys at 5 p.m., Steve Griggs Band at 6 p.m. and Hillbilly Vegas at 7 p.m., with Wynonna & the Big Noise performing at 8 p.m.

Twenty-four VIP tickets are available. VIP front row tickets include guaranteed front row seating, an "A"-Hall BBQ dinner, a souvenir chair-in-a-bag, VIP Lanyard, concierge beverage service with unlimited drinks, and a copy of Judd's latest album. Tickets cost $250 each or $450 a pair.
