Helias announces prom royalty

Helias High School in Jefferson City held its prom last Sunday.

J. Elliot Hollingsworth was named princess, and Ethan Rackers was named prince.

Hollingsworth, daughter of Timothy and Kimberly Hollingsworth, attends St. Andrew Church. Her school activities include track and field, basketball and stage crew for spring musical. After high school she plans to attend college and major in zoology to work in animal rehabilitation.

Rackers, son of Mike and Patricia Rackers, attends St. Stanislaus Church. His school activities include cross country, Student Council and National Honor Society. He plans to attend the University of Notre Dame or University of Missouri, Columbia.

Members of the prom court's top three include:

Jordan Wright, daughter of Steve and Jennifer Wright, attends St. Joseph Cathedral. Her school activities include Student Council, National Honor Society and archery. She plans to study occupational therapy at Rockhurst University.

Georgia Roark, daughter of Keith and Janet Roark, attends Immaculate Conception Church. Her school activities include International Club. She plans to attend Lincoln University to study nursing.

Dalton Weaver, son of Kevin and Jenny Weaver, attends St. Joseph Cathedral. His school activities include football and basketball. He plans to attend Missouri State University.

Jacob Storms, son of Tom and Lori Storms, attends Immaculate Conception Church. His school activities include football and track. He plans to attend Missouri State University.

Other members of the prom court's top 10 include girls Morgan Fischer, Molly Farnam, Cameron Ponder, Laura Vanderfeltz, Ally Seaton, Morgan Wieberg and Maddie Neuner; and boys Blake Heckman, Sam Heckart, Andrew Boessen, Connor James, Matthew Dampf and Evan Rackers.
