Board members Brad Stuedle, Earl Reuter and Kirby Baumert discuss the construction during a walk-through Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Mid-Mo Ambulance District base in California.

A walk-through of the new California base of the Mid-Mo Ambulance District was conducted prior to the Wednesday, March 8 meeting at the Tipton base.

The consensus of the board members was that several issues needed to be addressed, before the facility will be finished. The board would like to see it again after a good cleaning of the floor and exterior doors. There are a couple of bad spots on the floor which need attention. Other possible areas considered to be possible problems are the interior paint, the gutter spout on the front and a few other minor issues.

Administrator Lee Kempf will contact the contractors to address the issues. It was stated that the board would not approve final payment until the issues are addressed.

Other items were addressed before the walk-through, including the hand railing around the entrance ramp and walk to the front door. In addition, a curb edge was poured along the west edge of the driveway to prevent water flow from the grassy area.
