Tickets are on sale for the "Breakfast with an Astronaut" event scheduled Aug. 20 as part of the three-day Capital Eclipse celebration planned for the upcoming total solar eclipse, the Jefferson City Convention and Visitors Bureau announced Tuesday.

The breakfast will take place at the Capitol Plaza Hotel, 415 W. McCarty St., from 9:30-11:30 a.m. featuring Richland, Missouri, native and NASA astronaut Michael Hopkins, according to a news release from the CVB.
