Man faces 7 charges in triple stabbing

Jonathan W. Tindall faces seven felony charges from a triple stabbing incident Sunday at a Lake Ozark residence, including endangering the welfare of a child since his 2-year-old daughter present during the incident.

Tindall faces two counts of class A felony domestic assault in the first degree with serious injury, one count of class B felony domestic assault in the first degree, three counts of class D felony armed criminal action and one count of class D felony endangering the welfare of a child by creating substantial risk.

Camden County deputies responded to a call about the stabbings at 3:58 p.m. Sunday around the 1400 block of Carol Road in Lake Ozark. Tindall resided with the victims at that residence and his daughter, who was not injured during the incident.

Tindall allegedly used a large kitchen knife to stab three individuals at the residence.

A 69-year-old man, stabbed multiple times in the back, is in stable condition in the intensive care unit at Lake Regional Hospital. A 46-year-old man was stabbed in the face and neck; he was transferred to University Hospital in Columbia and is in stable condition. A 65-year-old woman was stabbed in the shoulder and refused treatment at the scene.

Because the incident falls under a domestic violence category, the victim's names will not be released, according to the Camden County Sheriff's Office.

Tindall fled the residence after the stabbing, and after a multi-agency search, officers arrested him Sunday evening.

He is being held without bond at the Camden County jail.

Tindall is currently facing charges of armed criminal action and domestic assault in the first degree in a separate case. A pre-trial conference has been scheduled for March 22, with a jury trial set for April 3 at the Camden County Courthouse.

He served four years of a five-year probation sentence after pleading guilty to a felony charge of first-degree property damage in 2012.
