A new beauty salon on Jefferson City's east end is all about helping clients feel beautiful.
"Our whole focus is to make sure everybody feels pampered and spoiled," said Danielle Withouse, who opened Simply Beautiful Salon & Spa at the end of December. "I want everyone to feel beautiful inside and out."
Withouse opened the salon at 2113 Schotthill Woods Drive after 25 years in the beauty business - 24 of those years at the level of master hair and makeup artist.
"It's always been a dream of mine to have my own salon. Hair and makeup have always been a passion of mine," she said. "My whole goal is just to make sure that clients are in an environment that makes them feel like they've come home, so to speak. I run my business with the motto of, 'Where integrity, trust, faith and family are key.'"
With four stylists on staff and an aesthetician and massage therapist in the works, Simply Beautiful offers all ranges of hair care as well as manicures and pedicures, makeup applications for special occasions, body and facial waxing, and package deals for "days of pampering," with custom facials and massage therapy coming soon.
"I researched all year for the best product lines, the best color line, everything from that to the best nail polish line," Withouse said.
In the spirit of pampering, Simply Beautiful also offers snacks and refreshments for clients - even complimentary wine if you come on the right evening.
The salon, located between Oscar's Classic Diner and Gerbes Super Store, takes appointments as well as walk-ins.
It's open 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays; and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. the first and third Saturdays of the month.
