Rehearsals for the Lake Area Community Orchestra have begun for the summer season.
The rehearsals will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Lake Ozark Christian Church on Business 54. New participants are welcome.
All kinds of instrument and percussion players are needed. Just come to a rehearsal or contact the director, Rose Adams, 573-375-5403, for more information. Concerts for this season will begin on the Tuesday after Memorial Day.
The orchestra officers were re-elected for this year. They are: Leonard Vader, Jefferson City, president; Mary Roderick, Roach, vice president; Nancy Jobe-Frampton, Osage Beach, secretary; Carroll Rinker, Sunrise Beach, treasurer; and Eugene Moll, Russellville, publicity.
