3 arrested near Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, Mo. - Two Williamsburg residents and one Mexico man were arrested Tuesday after Callaway County Sheriff deputies executed a fugitive search warrant, Lt. Curtis Hall said in a news release.

Deputies were seeking David C. Atterberry, 49, of Williamsburg, on Montgomery County charges for felony stealing, felony first-degree property damage and trespassing. Surveillance on a residence in the 9100 block of County Road 138 led officers to conclude Atterberry was likely present.

After obtaining a search warrant, deputies found Atterberry hiding in the residence and arrested him. While searching the residence, deputies observed the presence of narcotics and obtained another search warrant for narcotics .

Deputies found prescription pills and methamphetamine-related paraphernalia, and they arrested two other individuals at the residence - Kimberly Fraizer, 49, of Williamsburg, and William E. Atterberry, 25, of Mexico.

Fraizer was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of a controlled substance. William Atterberry was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition to the Montgomery County charges, David Atterberry was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of a controlled substance.

As of Tuesday evening, David Atterberry was held at the Callaway County Jail on a $30,000 cash-only bail from Montgomery County and a $5,000 bond for the Callaway County charges.

Hall said the case is still under investigation.
