City to host fair housing meetings

Jefferson City staff will host two public meetings next week to discuss ways to improve fair housing.

The city is working on its Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing document, required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. It includes recommended goals and strategies to further fair housing in Jefferson City.

The meetings will be 4-6 p.m. Jan. 3 in City Hall, 320 E. McCarty St., and 4-6 p.m. Jan. 4 at Dorothy Pack Community Center, 1306 Edmonds St.
