Holiday weekend wrecks in Mid-Missouri result in minor injuries

After snow covered the ground Sunday, two vehicles in Cole and Morgan counties wrecked, resulting in minor injuries.

Travis Reynolds, of Jefferson City, was driving westbound on Bald Hill Road, near Roling Road, in Cole County when his 2008 Ford F250 slid off the road and hit a utility pole.

Reynolds was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Kaylee Wilson, of Versailles, was driving a 2007 Toyota TC northbound on Golden Beach Road, north of Valley View Lane, when she slid off the road and struck an embankment.

Wilson was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

A woman in Callaway County was transported to the hospital Saturday after a vehicle ran a red light.

Wanda Reed, of Mexico, was traveling eastbound on I-70 at the U.S. 54/I-70 exit ramp when her 2016 Dodge drove through a red light and struck a 2004 Honda, driven by Janet Caruthers, of Auxvasse.

Reed was transported to University Hospital for minor injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
