JC man charged with fleeing from police

A Jefferson City man has been charged with fleeing from police Friday morning.

Michael Bouchee, 18, is charged with resisting arrest.

Officers were patrolling in the 200 block of Dawson Street and saw Bouchee standing on the front sidewalk of a residence, according to a Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement.

Bouchee was ordered to stop but fled on foot.

After a K9 track led to a home two blocks away, Bouchee was found hiding in a closet.

Court records show Bouchee was wanted for three active warrants, all of which were for resisting arrest and failing to obey an officer.
