Two people were injured in a traffic accident Wednesday afternoon in Jefferson City.

Emergency personnel responded at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday to the intersection of Southwest Boulevard and Woodclift Drive.

James White Jr., 84, of Jefferson City, was making a left turn from southbound Southwest Boulevard to eastbound Woodclift Drive when he collided with a vehicle driven by Donald Roark, 71, of Jefferson City, traveling northbound on Southwest Boulevard.

White was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Roark decided not to be transported by EMS.
