The Higher Learning Commission this year extended Lincoln University's academic accreditation through the 2022-23 academic year.
The reaffirmation of the university's status came July 31 at the HLC's Institutional Actions Council meeting.
Lincoln is on the HLC's standard accreditation pathway, which requires evaluations in Years 4 and 10 of each accreditation cycle.
LU officials completed and submitted their "Year 4 comprehensive evaluation" on Feb. 20, including evidence of compliance with HLC's five criteria for accreditation, as well as federal compliance information and student survey results.
Lincoln's next evaluation will be completed in 2023.
