Parts of 14 states, including all of Jefferson City and much of Mid-Missouri, are able to see a total solar eclipse today, where the moon appears to completely cover the sun for about two and a half minutes.

It will be the first total solar eclipse visible over the contiguous United States since 1979.

Check out the accompanying gallery to see photos from the activities connected to the eclipse in Jefferson City. We'll add photos as our coverage continues.
