A Fulton man was arrested Thursday afternoon after a standoff with police, according to Sgt. Billy Kamp of the Fulton Police Department.
Police received a tip Ryan L. Wainwright, 31, was at a residence in the 500 block of East 10th Street, Kamp said. Wainwright had an active felony failure-to-appear warrant from St. Louis County.
After arriving at the residence at 1:06 p.m., officers confirmed Wainwright was inside the residence, but he refused to exit, Kamp said. A standoff ensued which lasted about 20 minutes. The Callaway County Sheriff's Office and the Boone County Sheriff's Office also assisted.
Wainwright eventually surrendered to authorities and was arrested without incident, Kamp added.
Kamp said Wainwright was taken to the Callaway County Jail on no-bond warrant.
