Families from local 11U baseball team Callaway Crew set up a garage sale at 54 Country on Saturday morning.

Team mom Amy Bell said some items were hard to let go.

"Getting out the kids old clothes, they are pretty sentimental," she said. "My middle son's first Halloween costume was sold, and another mom got a little teary-eyed when a teddy bear sold."

All the money from the garage sale, Bell said, went to paying for team equipment, uniforms and other expenses.

"Anything that doesn't sell here is going to an auction house," she said. "Except for the clothes, we are donating them."

Team member Caleb Sheets said the Callaway Crew has improved since first forming last year.

"We got second at our first tournmant," he said. "We got these big rings. We're good; we can catch the ball."

Sheets added he has really enjoyed his time on the team, and he plans on playing in middle school.
