JC woman gets probation in drug case

A Jefferson City woman was placed on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to multiple charges of selling drugs in the Capital City in June 2015.

Cierra Dixon, 31, of 224 W. Atchison St., was charged with one count of second-degree drug trafficking and one count of selling cocaine. Two counts of selling cocaine and one count of maintaining a public nuisance were dismissed.

Court documents show Dixon sold cocaine to a confidential police informant three times. A search of Dixon's residence found approximately 170 grams of cocaine, two digital scales, packaging materials and weapon accessories.

Three young children were also present in the apartment. They were placed in the care of other relatives.
