An Owensville woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident Friday afternoon.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said Susan R. Fritz, 52, was northbound on Missouri 19 when her 1995 Toyota Camry ran off the right side of the highway.
She overcorrected, and the car began to skid, going off the right side of the road a second time, hitting a culvert and overturning.
Troopers said Fritz wasn't using a seatbelt and was thrown from the car.
She was pronounced dead at the accident scene, about 700 feet south of Liesmeyer Road.
