Boy Scout units from the Five Rivers District will be showcasing their skills during the Scout-A-Rama, which is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of West Main Street.
The event is free and open to the public.
It will be held in conjunction with the district's annual Cub Scout Cub Mobile Races, which will be held beginning at 9 a.m. Cub mobiles have Cub Scouts at the wheel piloting homemade vehicles down a course on Main Street.
Scout-A-Rama will feature scouts and scout leaders demonstrating outdoor skills such as camping, cooking, backpacking and tying knots and lashings. Other scout skills will be demonstrated during the day.
