A Mokane woman was involved in a wreck with a garbage truck reported about 9:30 a.m. Friday in Cole County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2010 Toyota Yaris driven by Catherine L. Helenhouse, 55, of Mokane, was driving west and passing a vehicle when another vehicle turned east onto Missouri 94.
Helenhouse's vehicle stopped in the eastbound lane next to the vehicle it was passing when it was struck from behind by the 2006 Mack garbage truck, driven by David L. Kroll, 49, of Jefferson City.
Helenhouse sustained minor injuries and was transported to SSM St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City, the patrol said.
