The body of a Linn man was recovered Monday evening in the Osage River.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, Byron Baker, 62, drove his truck into the river using the Mari Osa Delta boat ramp.
Baker exited the vehicle and did not resurface.
Baker's truck was noticed around 5:45 a.m. and eventually pulled out of the water.
The search for Baker's body went on throughout the day.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Cole County Medical Examiner Dr. Carl Doerhoff just after 5 p.m.
