3 area residents hurt in accidents

Jefferson City resident Gloria Rocha, 36, was taken to St. Mary's Hospital with minor injuries after a one-vehicle wreck in Morgan County early Sunday.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said she was eastbound on U.S. 50, about .9 miles east of Morgan County Road at 1:14 a.m.

Her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a tree and overturned.

She was wearing a seat belt.

 

Ashland resident David E. Brewer, 59, was rear-ended in a two-vehicle wreck Saturday evening.

The patrol said the incident happened on Route C, just east of Route D, at about 7:30 p.m.

A vehicle driven westbound by Brewer was stopped while waiting to make a left turn when his vehicle was struck from behind by a westbound vehicle driven by Matthrew A. Schnieders, 25, Jefferson City.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The report was unclear as to whether either driver had injuries or were treated.

 

Stover resident Jerri A. O'Rourke, 61, suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle wreck Saturday afternoon in Morgan County.

The patrol said she was northbound on Missouri 135 at Heppard Road when her vehicle went off the left side of the road and overturned.

O'Rourke, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Lake Regional Hospital.
