Monday crash leads to arrest

A Belle man was arrested after an accident Monday night in Osage County.

Taylor Martinez, 23, was arrested for driving while revoked and not wearing a seat belt, according to Missouri Highway Patrol reports.

The crash occurred just before 9 p.m. on Missouri 89, a mile south of Route E.

Martinez swerved to miss a deer, went off the road and struck a fence, then a tree, before coming to a stop.

He was treated for minor injuries.

Three Lake Ozark residents were hurt in a one-vehicle crash Monday morning in Miller County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred on Missouri 42, a half-mile west of State Park Road, around 9:25 a.m.

Danielle Gilliam, 24, was going east on 42 when she went off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Danielle was treated for serious injuries while her passengers, Daci Gilliam, 3, and Riley Wagner, 1, were both treated for moderate injuries.
