Fulton man arrested after Thursday car chase

In the early morning hours on Thursday, a car chase ensued that resulted in the arrest of a Fulton man.

Callaway County Sheriff's officials said Mikael Tice, 24, was charged with failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, felony resisting arrest by fleeing, operating a motor vehicle carelessly involving an accident, failing to signal and stay on the right side of the road, exceeding posted speed limit, driving while revoked and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Officials said Tice failed to stop for a deputy about 3:19 a.m. in Kingdom City. Deputies chased his vehicle along roads in Callaway and Audrain counties. About 20 minutes into the chase, Tice crashed into a field on State Road DD near State Road E in Callaway County. He attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended.

Tice was being held in the Callaway County Jail without bail. Previously, Tice has been charged with various other vehicle-related misdemeanors and infractions, including driving with a revoked or suspended license, operating a motor vehicle in a careless way and failing to wear a safety belt, law officials stated.
