A 5-year-old boy from Bland was treated for serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle while riding his bike Wednesday night in Gasconade County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred on Gray Street, just east of Victor Street, around 6:35 p.m. Braylian Reed pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Pamela Gray, 61, of Owensville.
The vehicle hit the bicycle, and Reed was ejected from the bike.
Reed was not wearing a safety device. Gray had no reported injuries and was wearing a seat belt.
