Members of Fords Unlimited Car Club, headquarters in St. Louis, will motor through Fulton on Saturday.

The day trip will include a morning tour of Backer Auto World Museum and an afternoon tour of the National Churchill Museum, with lunch and exploration of Brick District shops also planned.

Renee Stack Graham, Callaway County tourism director, said she worked with club members and their board member Syl Biermann to bring the group to town.

"They sounded like a fun group to have visit, and we were happy to suggest places to go, things to see and dining options," she said.

Graham added once club members decided what they wanted to see, she helped them with reservations, parking information, maps and anything else they needed.

Club members will park throughout the Brick District and near Post Office Bar & Grill for lunch, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Some cars might move closer to Seventh Street and Westminster Avenue after lunch while touring the Churchill museum.

If the weather is nice, Biermann believes some members will choose to walk around the town.

"We are hoping for a beautiful day to enjoy Fulton," said Biermann.

Fords Unlimited Car Club was founded in 1986 by people of all ages who share enthusiasm for Ford, Lincoln or Mercury products. Members are planning their 30th annual car show on July 31 at J.S.
