HOLTS SUMMIT, Mo. - There will be a fireworks celebration at Greenway Park next to the Civic Center in Holts Summit at 5 p.m. Friday.
"We have two bands playing that night," Holts Summit Mayor Landon Oxley said. "One band (The Scooter Brown Band) is from Houston, and they are all veterans. We're going to have a train ride and a beer garden and booths set up for people to check out."
Oxley said there will be plenty of reasons to enjoy the celebration.
"Expect some good music and some good entertainment with fellow citizens," Oxley said. "It's going to be a good fireworks show, and it's going to be entertainment for families."
