Jefferson City police have arrested one suspect and are seeking another after a strong-armed robbery Tuesday afternoon.
At about 1:43 p.m., the victim reported he was given a ride by one of the suspects to the suspect's house in the 1800 block of West McCarty Street. When they arrived, a second suspect, to whom the victim owed money, arrived. Both suspects then began to punch the victim.
At the conclusion of the assault, the second suspect stole $50 from the victim's wallet, the victim's shoes and his HTC cell phone.
Police are awaiting formal charges for the suspect in custody.
