Original report:

Jefferson City police are seeking help from the public to locate an endangered person last heard from in Jefferson City yesterday.

Kelly Clark, 30, Jefferson City, was speaking to a family member by phone when the family member overheard an assault against Clark take place. Clark was in the presence of Jimmie Johnson, 47, Jefferson City.

Attempts were made to track down Johnson, and Clark's vehicle was located in the 200 block of East Ashley Street. An examination of the vehicle revealed blood within, but neither Clark nor Johnson, who are in a relationship with each another, were located.

Several further attempts to locate Clark have been unsuccessful, which has led JCPD investigators to request an Endangered Person Advisory through the Missouri Highway Patrol. Her whereabouts and well-being are of concern, and we are asking for assistance from the public. Clark is a white female, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 230 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Johnson was the last known person in her presence, and he is listed as a person of interest. Johnson lives in Jefferson City, but has ties to the St. Louis area. He is described as a black male, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 200 pounds and short hair.

Clark and Johnson may be traveling in a 1999 silver or grey Ford Taurus station wagon with Missouri license FJ1U1F.
