Eight sentenced to prison in Morgan County

Eight offenders were sentenced prison time in the Missouri Department of Corrections following recent Morgan County Circuit Court action Dec. 15.

Those sentenced include:

Tabitha C. Banker, of Gravois Mills, was sentenced to seven years in prison for the class B felony of distribution of a controlled substance, with preference for the 120-day institutional treatment center program.

Clint W. Walker, of Stover, was sentenced to two years in prison for the class D felony of failure to register as a sex offender.

Jerry J. Sondrini Jr., of Gravois Mills, was sentenced to six years in prison for the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance.

Travis L. Davis, of Florence, was sentenced to seven years in prison for the class C felony of assault in the second degree; three years for the unclassified felony of armed criminal action; two years for the class C felony of endangering the welfare of a child; and two years for the class C felony of tampering with a motor vehicle. Each sentence will run concurrently.

Marketae L. Vrons, of Gravois Mills, was sentenced to eight years in prison for the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance as a prior drug offender, with preference for the 120-day institutional treatment center program.

Jacci M. Hays, of Louisburg, Kansas, was sentenced to seven years in prison for the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance, with preference for the 120-day institutional treatment center program.

Jessica E. Hatmon, of Falcon, was sentenced to eight years in prison for the class B felony of burglary in the first degree, with preference for the 120-day institutional treatment center program.

Timothy J. Morris, of Neosho, was sentenced to seven years in prison for the class C felony of tampering with a motor vehicle; seven years for the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance; and seven years for the class C felony of delivery or possession of a controlled substance at a jail. Each sentence ran concurrently, with probation revoked.

Morgan County Prosecuting Attorney Dustin Dunklee and assistant prosecuting attorneys Douglas Kinde and Derik Kinde prosecuted these cases, along with the efforts of Dunklee's staff members and the professional investigations of all law enforcement agencies involved.
