Jefferson City woman placed on probation from drug bust

A Jefferson City woman has been placed on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to an amended charge in connection with a drug bust in April 2015.

Jodi Heard, 37, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance.

She had been charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Mustang drug task force officers executed a narcotics and stolen property search warrant at 625 Norris Drive, where Heard was taken into custody. During a search of that residence, officers found a bag containing 2.25 grams of meth and packaging materials. In Heard's purse, officers found $496.
