Both presidential campaigns set up Missouri offices

Campaign officials for both presidential candidates - Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton - announced Monday they will have Missouri offices.

Trump's office will be at 105 E. High St., inside the Missouri State Republican Party's headquarters.

Clinton's office will be in St. Louis, several blocks east of Forest Park.

The Trump-Pence announcement named Aaron Willard, whose previous jobs include serving as chief of staff for two Missouri House speakers, as the Missouri state director for the Trump-Pence campaign.

Todd Abrajano, who was the state House communications director in 2005-06, will be the presidential campaign's Missouri communications director.

The Jefferson City office will be used to "coordinate the campaign's operations in this key battleground state," the GOP news release said.

Clinton's St. Louis office "will serve as a hub for organizing activity in St. Louis to help elect Hillary Clinton and Democrats up and down the ballot in November," the Clinton news release said.

A 6:15 p.m. ceremony today also will be used by Missouri Democrats, including St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay, as an opportunity to make comparisons between Clinton's and Trump's economic plans.
