Lake Regional Health System is expanding its services in Eldon with a new two-story, 20,000-square-foot addition to the Lake Regional Clinic, located at 416 S. Maple St.
With the new space, several specialists have been added to the clinic's lineup and a new retail pharmacy has been opened.
A community open house is scheduled from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26. During the open house, staff will provide free health screenings, and a free hot dog lunch will begin at 11 a.m.
"We are excited about our expansion of health care services in Eldon and look forward to celebrating with the Eldon community," said Kevin McRoberts, senior vice president of operations at Lake Regional Health System. "This expansion is an opportunity for us to make health care more convenient and accessible to many of our current patients, as well as to connect with new patients in the Eldon area who can benefit from Lake Regional's services."
Lake Regional Pharmacy-Eldon, will open Friday, Sept. 1, will feature a drive through as well as offer online refills and free prescription deliveries in much of Camden, Miller and Morgan counties. Other services to be located in the new addition will open Tuesday, Sept. 5.
