Award-winning four-piece hard rock band Dark Below won the fourth and final preliminary round in the inaugural Bands Battle 4 the Badges music competition March 24, moving forward to the finale Saturday at The Bridge.
Hailing from Columbia, Dark Below tours across the state and released a brand new single, "Make Believe," on its debut EP. The band went up against Never Blue Avenue and Magnus during week four and advanced to the finals. For more information or to check their music, visit facebook.com/DarkBelowMusic.
Dark Below joins other preliminary round winners - Chemical Mass, Travis Feutz Band and the John Galbraith Trio - in the final competition Saturday, with one band claiming the 2018 Bands Battle 4 the Badges championship title to be decided by celebrity judges and audience votes.

Theo's Midtown, Paddy Malone's, Gumbo Bottoms Ale House, Spectators, Shrunken Head Tropic Lounge, Goodrich Quality Theaters, Pita Pit and others have contributed to those drawings.
