What would Jesus do?

The Stained Glass Theatre repeat production of "In His Steps" will pose just that question.

Veteran Director Tina Brown said the story line has already impacted her perspective on daily life.

"It's a very powerful message," she said. "And it comes out very clear."

Unlike some of her previous shows, including "Charlotte's Web," the century-old Charles Sheldon novel adapted for stage by Ron Laws has a strong spiritual overtone.

The cast and crew of 20 deliver the story of the First Church of Raymond congregation "as they take a pledge to do everything in their lives after asking the question, 'What would Jesus do?'" according to the website.

Brown praised her cast for its acting quality and hard work, especially from two newcomers with substantial roles.

"In His Steps" fits well into the theater's Season of Hospitality, she said.
