Rep. Quinn, a Democrat, represents part of Monroe, Boone, Audrain, Chariton and all of Howard Counties (District 9) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Quinn is the former Monroe County Assessor and served for 12 years on the Monroe County Commission. He spent over 30 years as a farmer.
Rep. Quinn is a member of the Missouri Children's Service Commission as well as St. Stephens Indian Creek Church, St. Stephens Knights of Columbus and the Missouri Farmers Union. Rep. Quinn is also a member of the Paris Rotary Club and the Paris and Monroe City Chambers of Commerce.
Throughout his career, Rep. Quinn has been awarded the Monroe City Chamber of Commerce Working with Youth Award. He also was presented an award for his more than 20 years of prison ministry work.
Born October 31, 1943 in Hannibal, Missouri, Rep. Quinn currently resides on a farm in the vicinity of Monroe City. He was married for nearly 40 years to his wife Judy before her death in 2004. He has nine children: Jim, Sarah, John, Dan, Rebecca, Mary (deceased), Joe, Nancy and Matt, as well as 25 grandchildren. On February 18, 2012 he married Deana Maas and added three more children to the family - Gerry, Mike and Shannon - and five step grandchildren.
