My name is Kris Scheperle and I am running for Western District Commissioner of Cole County. I am running because we need to move our county forward. I think the time is now for new people to step forward with fresh ideas, common sense, creativity and to be good stewards of the taxpayer dollars.
I believe my experience of running a small business will serve me well in helping direct our county. I own and operate All Seasons Landscaping & Construction, Inc. and also operate the Yard Wast/Compost Facility for the City of Jefferson. Being a small business owner has taught me that employees are your greatest resource and that sometimes you need to find new and better ways to address issues.
Cole County has always been an excellent, safe place to raise a family and we need to insure that it stays that way for the next generation. I believe we should continue to look at ways to cooperate with all surrounding communities on issues, such as our resident’s safety, growth and sharing costs.
I am married to Jennifer (Buffington) Scheperle, who is a teacher at Trinity Lutheran School and together we have 4 children: Hannah, Charlie, Elly & Adam.
I am a graduate of JCHS and Lincoln University. I am a member of JC Chamber of Commerce, member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Vice-president of the Trinity Lutheran PTL, coach for youth sports and Cub Scout Troop 8 Den Leader.
I look forward to serving the citizens of Cole County.
