St. Louis-based Jim Butler Auto Group will hold a grand opening for a new showroom at its Linn location Aug. 17.
Jim Butler bought 65-year-old Beck Motors in Freeburg in July 2017 then moved its assets to Linn. The auto dealer then constructed a temporary showroom for its Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram dealership until construction on the permanent facility could be finished.
Free food, a ribbon-cutting and other festivities will be featured at the grand opening, scheduled at noon Friday.
"We are on the elevator," Mike Carroll, Jim Buttler Linn Chevrolet general manager said of sales at Jim Butler's dealerships in Linn. "It's getting better every month."
Jim Butler's Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram dealership is the company's second in Linn. Jim Butler also bought Carroll-Rehma Motors in Linn in 2015, renaming it Jim Butler Chevrolet. Both dealerships are located at 317 W. Main St. in Linn.
