Madison's Cafe recently added new, redesigned awnings above the entrance at its Jefferson City location at 216 Madison St.
Owner Rob Agee said the restaurant is making other minor improvements to its outdoor patio.
The new black awnings ditch the word "cafe" from the Madison's name. Agee said customers and employees notice the change, even though the restaurant's name has not changed.
"Everybody refers to it as Madison's," Agee said. "We think it gives it a fresher, cleaner look."
