St. Louis-based Jim Butler Auto Group expanded its car lot Sept. 6 in Linn, selling Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram vehicles.
In July, Jim Butler announced plans to buy 65-year-old Beck Motors in Freeburg. It moved Beck Motors' assets Sept. 1 to Linn. In 2015, Jim Butler also bought Carroll-Rehma Motors and renamed it Jim Butler Linn Chevrolet.
Both dealerships are located at 317 W. Main St. in Linn. The company constructed a temporary showroom for the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram dealership. Construction on a permanent facility for the new dealership is about to begin. The new dealership showroom should be finished by February.
The company wants to remain loyal to Beck Motors' former customers and is offering current Beck Motors customers and their immediate family members a $1,000 trade-in-bonus between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31, the company said in a news release.
