Dunkin' Donuts' Jefferson City location at 2207 Missouri Blvd. will debut with a soft opening Monday.
Anup Thakkar, Dunkin' Donuts' Jefferson City franchisee, told the News Tribune the store will focus on training employees during its first week in operation.
The location will open officially Wednesday, with a grand opening Friday.
The combined Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins replaced the former Burger King in the same location. Thakkar and his team replaced almost everything in the existing restaurant as they replaced and rebuilt most of the restaurant's interior.
In 2015, the franchise announced plans to open two stores in Columbia and one in Jefferson City. Thakkar opened his first Dunkin' Donuts in Columbia at 3100 S. Providence Road in May 2015. A second Dunkin' Donuts location opened last May, and a third Columbia location is in the planning phases.
