Fireball Is Bringing the Heat to Six Flags St. Louis

EUREKA, Mo.- Fireball …The Ultimate Coaster Loop opens at Six Flags St. Louis on May 7. With the addition of this single loop thrill ride, the theme park will boast ten unique coaster experiences for thrill-seekers of all ages.

The new Fireball at Six Flags St. Louis gives guests some hair-raising, inverted hang time from atop the 7-story Ultimate Coaster Loop. After soaring back and forth pendulum style while building speed, the train rockets through the ride's 360° loop multiple times before suspending riders upside down only to change direction and do it all over again. Fireball is the only coaster experience at the theme park to feature unique "face-off" designed seating where guests sit face to face and back to back.

Riding back to back in unique "face-off" seating, guests will soar back and forth, pendulum style, as they build up speed to propel them head over heels through a series of 360° revolutions. Mid-way riders will stop upside down for some insane, inverted hang time before reversing direction. Fireball is a pure adrenaline rush as guests rocket forward, backward and upside down. The 7-story tall, single loop coaster experience will be located in the Illinois section of the park.

"We are excited to be bringing our guests another unique coaster experience with Fireball," said Peter Carmichael, park president. "When combined with our new virtual reality coaster coming late May and our new Holiday in the Park celebration starting in November, there is no better time to become a Season Pass holder at Six Flags."
