Missouri wrestling sits in sixth

NEW YORK - The Missouri wrestling team is in sixth place heading into the final day of the NCAA Division I Championships at Madison Square Garden.

J'Den Cox (197 pounds) will face Morgan McIntosh of Penn State in the finals today after defeating Brett Pfarr of Minnesota by fall (6:29) on Friday.

Willie Miklus (184) is headed to the consolation semifinals after losing by major decision (12-4) against Timothy Dudley of Nebraska.

Miklus will face off against Nolan Boyd of Oklahoma State in the consolation semifinals.

Lavion Mayes (149) will also be in the consolation semifinals after defeating Geo Martinez of Boise State by decision (5-1).

Daniel Lewis (165) lost by a major decision (14-4) to Alex Dieringer of Oklahoma State, sending Lewis to the consolation semifinals against Steven Rodrigues of Illinois.
